Yin Yoga Class for Grief

In this one hour yin yoga session, we will move through several postures and breathing techniques that help us to sit with some of the most difficult feelings. Grief is often shamed into hiding places, but it’s an important part of life to experience. As yoga teaches us, life is both the good and the bad, the ups and the downs, and the dark and the light. It’s important that we learn to acknowledge both. Give yourself the space to simply be where you are. To feel your feelings and to experience the freedom there is in holding this sacred space for yourself. This practice will be heavily supported with props. No yoga experience necessary.
