In this webinar, we will explore several pranayama techniques that can be used in the yin practice. We will begin the session by talking about the importance of the breath in the yin yoga practice. Then we will dive into the specific techniques up for discussion: the 3-part breath building into the ocean breath / (yin) ujjayi, as well as alternate nostril breathing and bhramari (humming bee) breath as complimentary practices for yin yoga. We will discuss the benefits and usage of each as well as spend some time practicing each technique.
