Description

In this webinar, we will piggyback on the guidelines we discussed in part I related to yin yoga and injuries. Specifically, in this session we will cover several injuries that your students might walk into class with and how / when / if to teach these students with their safety in mind. Specific injuries to be discussed…

  • Spine issues: disc issues, osteoporosis and scoliosis
  • Arthritis in the joints
  • Sciatica
  • Knee tendon tears

Of course, none of this is black and white in terms of clarity. In fact, most of the recommendations we will discuss are gray areas and merely recommendations to pay attention to sensation! But as The Four Agreements teach us, we can do our best and rest in knowing that we are doing all we can! This is an important reminder, especially when encountering students with injuries in the practice.
